As a digital designer at Cliq Digital, I work for the marketing department, to create their digital marketing assets. These include things like marketing banners, designing and scripting landing pages and designing and scripting marketing emails. I also design the branding for several of their sub brands.

As a design production specialist at Spotzer, I am responsible for the quality of websites for each partner that works with the Mono platform. I keep track of updates on this platform, and updates from our partners, and communicate these with the team. I also coordinate launches of new partners that wish to work with Mono. For this, I oversee the creation of templates, gather partner specifications, train teams on the new partner and create the first few orders that we get from this partner.

As webdesigner at Spotzer, I have built websites for SMB’s from all around Europe. I was responsible for the complete process. From wireframing, to choosing fonts and from setting up the site on WordPress, to writing custom HTML and CSS to fit the client’s style.

At digital marketing agency Spotzer, I started out as a quality assurance specialist. In this role, I made sure the websites made by designers and developers where up to our standards of quality and user experience. I also did small fixes to these websites myself

As a freelancer, I designed for both digital and paper media. I designed branding for small companies, did photo editing for Dinnerware & Co. (manufacturer of home accessories) and designed birth announcement cards for Geboortekaartje.nl (part of Sanoma Media Group).

User Experience Design college course

In this class, I am learning all the methods and techniques to create a UX design case study. The class is taught by a UX instructor from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
In November 2018, I spent an entire month with our design team in Manila, to keep them updated with the goings on at headquarters and to train them on new platforms and processes. Firstly, I gathered the teams for some group trainings. Thereafter, I did one on one sessions with each individual team member, during their day to day work. I am happy to say that I have managed to improve both the workflow and quality within the Manila team.

During this workshop, I have learned the basics of UX and how to combine these in an appealing design.
Minor Beeld (design and imagery)

In this minor, I spent six months taking a deep dive into photography, sourcing images, illustrating and combining all these elements into an appealing layout. We worked on projects like flyers, expositions and logos. Besides these subjects, we also got taught about symbolism, laws and ethics of design.
