More about me.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been obsessed with media and communication. I was 7 when I published my first weekly magazine, about my cat. My neighbours and family were loyal readers. During and after my studies, I narrowed this interest down to visuals. Due to a lucky mistake, I ended up designing birth announcement cards, and I realized where I wanted to take my career next: into the world of design.
Print design.
My journey started off in print design. During my final internship, I got in touch with a designer who was making birth announcement cards for the company I worked for at the time. She could use some help, and what started with me lending a hand, ended up with me leading the design side of the project. This has been a fun time where I got to set up guidelines for other designers and work alongside them, making my own designs.
Digital Design.
My first real job after college, besides some freelance work, was for digital agency Spotzer. I started out in quality assurance, but through much studying and training, worked my way up to Design Production Specialist. I have learned a lot about digital design on this journey. From technical aspects and different platforms, to creating user friendly layouts. I have been able to put all I learned into practice by creating many websites for SMBs across Europe.
